Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd in Ashford, Kent is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team and deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in Orchard House. The role supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, offering a permanent, full‑time position with 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.

You will supervise staff, ensure care plans are followed and contribute to meaningful activities while maintaining accurate records and responding to on‑call needs as required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Drivers desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and day‑to‑day direction.
• Deliver and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support and ensure plans are followed and updated.
• Coordinate activities, appointments and community engagement for the people we support.
• Maintain high standards of record‑keeping and documentation.
