Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd in Ashford is hiring a Support Worker to deliver person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will help with daily living skills, personal care, and promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.

This role includes working a rota that covers evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. Full training, ongoing development and a structured induction are provided to support your long-term career in care.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Location: Ashford
Rate: £13.54 per hour + £66.80 per sleep-in
Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
