Job summary

CareTech's High Road service in Ilford is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team providing person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This permanent, full-time role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota, with Senior On-Call responsibilities and shift patterns.

You will deliver high-quality support, coordinate activities, maintain records, and support individuals to live fulfilling lives in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Ability to work rota-based shifts including Senior On-Call.
• Experience leading a care team and delivering person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and day-to-day direction.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support following care plans.
• Coordinate activities, appointments and community engagement for the people we support.
• Maintain thorough records, complete documentation and incident reports.
• Participate in Senior On-Call rota to respond to needs.
