Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd. is recruiting a Support Worker (Male) in Ashford, Kent. This permanent full-time role offers £13.03 per hour and requires being able to drive.

You will provide person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, helping with daily living tasks and promoting independence. Training is provided; shift patterns include evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. DBS check is paid for by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful with a positive and resilient approach.
• Good communication skills and basic IT/written abilities.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Driver preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
