Keys Group is recruiting for a Senior Support Worker in Holbeach, at a Children’s residential home. The role involves leading a team, delivering high‑quality care, and supporting children with complex needs in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work flexibly in shifts and sleep-ins, with a focus on therapeutic care and positive outcomes for each child, under the guidance of a Service Manager and Deputy Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year experience working within a Residential Children's home.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare is required.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.

What do you need?

• A minimum of 1 year experience working within a Residential Childrens home.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic.
• A strong people manager with a hands on approach.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
• You will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a Service Manager and Deputy Manager.
• Responsible for delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and day to day shift management matters.
• Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
• Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
• Responsible for mentoring of staff and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home.
