Job summary

Keys care is seeking Residential Support Workers in Spalding to help children and young people aged 8–18 in residential settings. You will support emotional, physical and social needs, accompany them to appointments and activities, and assist with daily routines in a safe, caring environment.

The role involves long shifts (including 14-hour days and sleep-ins) and a full UK driving license is essential. Annual leave, DBS coverage, and a comprehensive induction are provided.

SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour + up to £6000 sleep-in allowance.

HOURS:39 per week which will be completed as shifts, including long days (14 hours) & sleep-ins.

REQUIREMENTS:Full UK Driving License - essential.

Our Children's Home in Spalding is looking for a number of Residential Support Workers to join their team and be part of something special.

With help from your manager and a team of passionate Support Workers you will be working alongside children and young people in residential settings who need a kind, caring and fun place to live despite the challenges they may bring.

Our young people are between 8-18 years old who display emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is why we are looking for motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children and young people with their emotional, physical, and social needs
  • Accompanying them to appointments, school, and fun activities
  • Delivering personal care and helping with daily routines
  • Supporting with household tasks and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
  • Completing accurate, clear documentation and reports
  • Always promoting their wellbeing and safeguarding them
