Hammonds in Bognor Regis is seeking a Senior Support Worker to deliver outcome-based care and promote independence within the local community.
The role involves deputising for the manager, handling out-of-hours duties including sleep-in shifts, and supporting residents to lead dignified, connected lives with personalised care plans.
We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Hammonds. This role provides outcome-based care, promoting independence and we aim to enable every person to be engaged in their local community to the best of their ability.
Salary: £32,597 to £35,412 full time equivalent
Working Pattern: Part time, 35.15 hrs per week
Senior Support Workers would be expected to pick up duty shifts (24 hours, 14:00-14:00), managing the service out of hours including sleep in duty

Hammonds is a registered, purpose-built residential care home based in the local
community of Aldwick, we people with their hobbies and interests and the inhouse
club also hosts bingo, karaoke, and music and dance sessions.
People have shared their ideas around something we call "A life beyond walls" - this is when people work with us to plan and go on holidays, days out, connecting to their community and plan to do new things that are important to them.
We also offer weekday and weekend short stay breaks in our purpose-built lodge offering fully accessible en-suite rooms with communal lounge and wheelchair accessible kitchen.
As a Senior Support Worker you will be confident managing people and situations, using your initiative, deputising for the manager in the absence. The out of office hours manager is contactable for emergencies only.
