Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is recruiting for a permanent Senior Support Worker at Exmoor Drive Residential Care Home in Bromsgrove. This 35-hour post involves a mixture of shifts with some weekend working.

You will support residents with learning disability, dementia, mental health and other needs, and contribute to careful recording and communication. The role includes a Sunday enhancement and a four-week rota, with DBS checks required prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or related settings.
• Strong leadership and team-working abilities.
• Excellent communication and recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide care for residents with learning disability, dementia, mental health, physical disability and end of life needs.
• Deliver person-centred support and maintain essential records and documentation.
