Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our Cheshire-based Supported Living services. You will lead a team of Support Workers, ensure high-quality care aligned to personalised plans, and support individuals with their goals.

Role requires frequent travel across Crewe, Winsford and Northwich, with a Full UK Driving Licence. We offer enhanced pay scales, DBS coverage, and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential to travel between Cheshire services.
  • Experience in care and support settings is desirable.

JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker - Supported Living

HOURS: 35 - 40 hours

REQUIREMENT:Full UK Driving Licence - essential as you will need to travel between our Cheshire services in Crewe, Winsford and Northwich.

About Cheshire:

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Cheshire provides support for people with Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries.

Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan.

We meet with each person referred and their family so that we can develop a strong understanding of their life story, any support or communication needs and their personal aspirations. We work in partnership with Local Health Professionals such as social workers, community nurses, and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
