Voyage Care in Wisbech Friday Bridge is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our supported living service, The Leam. You will guide a dynamic team, support individuals to gain independence, and assist with shifts, training, and medication ordering.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Experience working with LD and Autism.
• UK Manual Driving Licence (where applicable) or willingness to obtain?

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily living and activities.
• Assist the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and service management.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues and support with supervision.
• Order medication and help people manage finances.

Typical Shifts are: Mon -Sun 7.30am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-9.30pm Plus sleep in

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service The Leam in Friday Bridge. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working in LD and Autism.
