The workday can be unpredictable, involving organizing activities in the morning and providing 1:1 support in the afternoon.

As a Senior Team Leader, you will be involved in all aspects of their daily lives, making a positive, immeasurable impact.

Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour shifts (including Sleep-in) on a one on, two off or two on, four off basis.

The young people in our care are aged 8-18 years with behavioral and emotional needs.

A day in the life of a Senior Team Leader may include:

• Leading shifts and deputizing for the Registered Manager
• Ensuring team members are up-to-date with mandatory training and supporting their development
• Communicating with the team about care plans and their implementation
• Maintaining accurate records for monitoring and evaluation
• Participating in team and staff meetings
• Providing support and care to young people
• Encouraging educational engagement and supporting re-entry into education
• Traveling with young people to and from school or college
• Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment
• Organizing and facilitating social activities

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• 12 months experience in a residential setting is desirable but not essential
• DBS and reference checks in line with regulations and safer recruitment practices
