Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our services in Rainham, Rochester and Kent. You will help individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs, ensuring person-centred outcomes and independent living.

The role focuses on enabling daily living activities, effective communication, and teamwork, with opportunities for career development and funded training. A compassionate, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work.
• 12 months experience in support work.
• Health and Social Care level 2 (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to take active roles in their communities and foster independence.
• Supporting activities of daily living, personal care, routines, meal planning and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using individuals' preferred methods.
• Engaging to enhance quality of life and promoting positive behavioural support when needed.
• Recording changes in health or circumstances and reporting to management.
• Working as part of a team or with initiative as required.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
