Job summary

CYGNET in Salford is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our high-support inpatient service for women. You will work a full-time 42-hour week with 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends, providing enhanced care and support to service users with complex needs.

DBS will be required; training and progression opportunities are available. The role emphasizes empowerment, teamwork and leadership development within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Support Worker in mental health care.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required.
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment.
