Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd in Brooke, Norwich area is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker for a permanent full-time role (36 hours per week) with days or nights. You will contribute to care planning, support residents, and supervise staff, with a focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, has care-setting experience, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and team-working abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers
• Promote the services offered when dealing with relatives and enquiries
• Update and write care plans and resident documentation
• Make and report realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

As a Senior Support Worker your key responsibilities include:

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have a genuine desire to care for others

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £15.00 - £16.00 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
