Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a respected nursing home in the Wroxham/Norwich region to recruit a Senior Support Worker. You will provide person-centred care for residents in a warm, supportive team and contribute to care plans, documentation and daily ward activities.

The role is permanent, full-time (36 hours per week, day shifts) with a salary of £13.85 per hour (£25,927.20 per year). Benefits include pension, induction, enhanced DBS, recognition schemes, paid breaks, uniform, and staff

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers.
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
• Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £13.85 per hour and the annual salary is £25,927.20 per annum.
