Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Support Worker for a nursing home in the Norfolk area. The role is a permanent full-time position, offering 36 hours per week on day or night shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, be a genuine care provider, and work well in a team. A driving licence is desirable as transport can be provided.

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This special service provides exceptional, specialised care for those in need of residential, nursing and dementia care and offers a peaceful and comfortable haven for all residents

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

As a Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• In a remote location so a Driving Licence is desirable, however transport can be provided

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £13.45 per hour and the annual salary is £25,178.40 per annum.
