CS UK Recruitment Ltd in Lowestoft is seeking a committed Senior Support Worker for a modern, luxury care home providing high standards of care in a homely environment. You will contribute to care planning and supervise staff, ensuring residents receive responsive support.

You must hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. The role is permanent, full-time, 36 hours per week, with day shifts and a salary of £14.45 per hour.

Formación

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a care setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
• Contribute to care planning and coaching of support workers.
• Promote services when dealing with relatives and prospective residents.
• Update and write care plans and resident documentation.
• Report realistic assessments to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer medications per policies and procedures.

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Lowestoft, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This is a modern, luxury, well equipped care home providing the highest standards of care and support in a very homely and comfortable environment

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent**

As the Senior Support Worker your key duties include:

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have a genuine desire to care for others

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week working on day shifts.
