Job summary

Job description

We are looking for 2 Senior Support Workers for our service in Leyland.

1 for 40 hours per week and another for 20 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance and knowledge with all regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular staff supervisions and training sessions to promote professional development within the service.
  • Support the staff team to maintain a high level of care that is required for the needs of thePeopleWeSupport and for the service.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and other MDT to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
  • Support the Registered Manager with the rota system, incorporating 1-2-1 hours for thePeopleWeSupport
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance.
Who you are:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within health and social care
  • Have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and be willing to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
  • You will be trustworthy, reliable, and have the ability to communicate effectively.
