Job summary

Agincare South Central is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Hedge End to provide hands-on support and lead a care team. You will help people live safe, happy, and meaningful lives across Hampshire, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance your career.

You’ll review care plans, coordinate with families and professionals, and ensure high-quality, consistent support across locations. A full UK driving licence and IT proficiency are essential; training and pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior support or team leader role.
• Confidence supporting complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable/working towards).
• Strong organisation and IT skills.
• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, including personal care and community activities.
• Support and guide team members across multiple locations.
• Review care plans, risk assessments, and records.
• Liaise with families and professionals.

The people you’ll support:

You’llsupportindividuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.Each person is unique, and you’ll help ensure their care is person-centred, consistent, and tailored to their lifestyle, whether that’s providing personal care, helping with daily routines or enjoying days out or quieter time at home.
