Due to the continued success, FitzRoy is recruiting for an enhanced senior support worker manager in the Littleover area of Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex support needs and mental health conditions. People supported in our services may exhibit behaviours of concern or have a forensic background. Support is provided in community settings, possibly under a care and treatment order or sections of the Mental Health Act.
You will work with service users to help them lead fulfilled and independent lives, develop positive relationships, and be valued as equal members of their community as part of their rehabilitation process.
The role involves supporting the management in the daily operation of a specialized complex service comprising 4 self-contained flats. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated staff team with strong leadership. You will act as a role model for excellent practice, serve as the senior contact in the absence of the Manager, and support tasks that assist the management team.
You will collaborate with staff, internal and external stakeholders, professionals, and the local community to achieve objectives using best practice guidelines and FitzRoy values.
Provide clear direction and guidance to develop the team, supporting people to lead active, full lives as community members.
Carry out support worker activities to a high standard and foster a culture of open communication, constructive feedback, and shared information with colleagues and management.
