Job summary

Priory Daffodil House in Pontypridd, South Wales, seeks a Senior Support Worker to lead day-to-day operations and coach a team providing person-centred care to adults with autism and complex needs.

You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality care, and support residents to live more independent lives, while maintaining compliant practices and developing your leadership skills within a supportive Priory environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.

Compensation: £14.25 / hour


Description

Priory Daffodil House is a residential service in Pontypridd, South Wales. We provide support to males and females between the ages of 18 and 65, who are on the autistic spectrum who may also be presenting with complex needs.


We aim to help residents create and achieve goals, in order to lead a fulfilled and enriched life.


What you'll be doing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.
You will play a key role in supervising day-to-day operations, coaching colleagues, leading team meetings, and ensuring the people who use our service are supported to live fulfilling, independent lives.


Key Responsibilities:
