Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for Integra Riversdale in Cardiff. The role involves assisting senior management to assess support needs and developing new ideas to improve service quality for residents in a care home setting.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or working towards it), a full UK driving licence, and the ability to motivate and lead a team in a caring environment.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our team atIntegra Riversdale

Riversdale is a residential care home for 10 individuals with a mental health diagnosis, we have two houses Riversdale House and the Coach House, which are separated by gardens.

The Coach House provides support for those who are almost ready for move on into their own properties, this comprises of 4 bedrooms, 3 communal bathroom/shower rooms, a large communal lounge, dining room and kitchen.

Riversdale House has 5 ensuite bedrooms and 1 self-contained flat; it is a care home that provides rehabilitation support for male adults wanting to live independently within the community.

The Senior Support Worker Role:

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.
