Job summary

Integra Ty Nant, a National Care Group residential care home in Wales, is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join the team. The role focuses on compassionate support for men aged 18+ with mental health needs.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, planning activities, and helping individuals work toward greater independence. Driving license is desirable.

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Integra Ty Nant

Ty Nant is a residential care home in RCT for men aged 18 and above with a mental health diagnosis. The building is a modern 24-hour residential care home made up of four adjacent properties, consisting of 11 bedrooms with most rooms having en-suite bathrooms with one house having a lift to enable individuals with mobility needs to access the first floor. Ty Nant also has a further two self-contained flats for individuals wishing to live more independently with lower support needs.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.

What qualities do you need to be a great support worker?
  • A UK Driving License is Desirable
  • A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
  • A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
