Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker to assist in senior management, assess support needs, and drive improvements in care quality across residential, supported living, and outreach settings in and around Gloucester.

You will work with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, promoting person-centred care, respect, and empathy while supporting goals and aspirations. Strong teamwork and driving duties are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care or be working towards it.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Experience with electronic support plans/record systems (e.g., Nourish) preferred.

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supporting adults withlearning disabilities.
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Level 3 in health and social care , or willingness to undertake
• Previous use of electronic support plan/ record systems ( ideally nourish)
