Job summary

Voyage Care in Worksop is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead the Rivers Adult Residential Service. You’ll supervise daily operations, support the manager, allocate shifts, train staff and assist with medication ordering to empower residents toward greater independence.

Applicants should have prior Senior Support Worker experience and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with a commitment to enhancing quality of life for people we support at this service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience as Senior Support Worker or similar role.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and assist with day-to-day supervision of the service.
• Induct new colleagues and support supervision.
• Support with training, ordering medications and financial management for individuals.

Senior Support Worker – Worksop - £13.72 per hour

Shifts: 7:30am - 8:00pm

Working alongside the other Senior's shift pattern

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our Adult Residential Service - Rivers in Worksop. Senior Support Workers - with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support - are at the heart of our management teams. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including learning disabilities & mental health conditions.
