Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for Integra Ty Newydd in Cardiff. The role supports six-bedroom residential care for women with enduring mental health needs, including assessing support needs and developing new ideas to improve service quality.

A £500 joining bonus is offered, with 37.5 contracted hours and an annual salary of £27,904.50. Ideal candidates will have Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it), the ability to motivate a team, and

The Senior Support Worker Role

As a Senior Support Worker your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service. The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
