Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join Integra Ty Newydd in Cardiff, a six-bedroom home supporting women with enduring mental health needs. You will work with the team to assess support needs and develop new ideas to enhance service quality.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or be working toward it, with empathy and leadership to motivate a team.

The Senior Support Worker Role:

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supporting adults withlearning disabilities.
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
