Job summary

National Care Group is hiring a Senior Support Worker for National Neurological Services – Preston. The role is full-time (36 hours weekly) with a salary of £13.72 per hour.

You will support adults with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions in rehabilitation, helping individuals regain independence and encouraging a return home where possible. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it), possess a Full UK driving licence, and

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support worker to join our team at National Neurological Services – Preston

At National Neurological Services we support people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions in the rehabilitation. We strive to achieve personal goals and endeavour to support individuals in regaining as much independence as possible following the injury or condition. Our ultimate aim is for individuals to be able to return home and enjoy their lives again.

The Senior Support Worker Role

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supporting adults withlearning disabilities.
• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Level 3 in health and social care , or willingness to undertake
• Previous use of electronic support plan/ record systems ( ideally nourish)
