Job summary

National Care Group Limited is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for National Neurological Services - Preston. You will support adults with disabilities, assess needs, and help develop approaches to improve the quality of care and outcomes for individuals returning to independent living.

The role requires a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or working towards) and a Full UK Driving Licence. You will work within a compassionate team focused on wellbeing and person-centred support.

Qualifications

• Possess Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake is expected.
• Experience with electronic support plan/record systems (Nourish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in senior management to assess people's support needs.
• Develop and implement ideas to improve the quality of service for individuals.
• Support team members to deliver person-centred care and wellbeing.

At National Neurological Services we support people with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological conditions in the rehabilitation. We strive to achieve personal goals and endeavour to support individuals in regaining as much independence as possible following the injury or condition. Our ultimate aim is for individuals to be able to return home and enjoy their lives again.

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supporting adults withlearning disabilities.


• Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.


• Able to motivate and manage a team.


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Level 3 in health and social care , or willingness to undertake


• Previous use of electronic support plan/ record systems ( ideally nourish)
