Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Redcroft, Apple House in Bournemouth. The role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, assessing needs, and developing ideas to improve service quality, while treating everyone with respect and kindness.

• Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
• Experience in motivating and managing a team.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our team atRedcroft, Apple House.

We offer a range of our own activities, including pet therapy, visiting owls and dogs, BBQs, picnics, and parties, and we also hold a variety of events. Everyone has a choice of where they would like to go and what they'd like to do, including on annual holidays and weekend breaks. A break away offers people supported the opportunity to interact with new friends in new surroundings and to help develop their social skills.

The Senior Support Worker Role:

As a Senior Support Workeryour role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and workwith people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.

The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.
