Job summary

Blue Triangle Limited is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Oban to deliver high-quality social care. The role includes deputising for the Service Manager, developing staff, managing rotas, and supervising teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

You will be part of a team focused on move-on planning, person-centered support, and delivering outcomes while upholding standards and policies. A commitment to ongoing professional development and SVQ qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising and developing staff.
• Ability to supervise and manage service delivery.
• Competent with IT systems and record-keeping.
• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and willing to complete SVQ4.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager in day-to-day delivery of the service.
• Promote and encourage staff development and training.
• Ensure adequate staffing cover with rotas and deployment.
• Conduct regular supervision with Support Workers.
