Embrace Care in Chester is seeking a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to lead shifts, support colleagues and deliver outstanding care for children and young people. The Retreat Short Breaks & Day Service, Chester, offers progression into management and paid induction, with DBS checks and safeguarding requirements clearly stated.

The role provides a £15.25 per hour rate, full-time permanent contract, and benefits including healthcare and training opportunities, plus bonus referral incentives

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior or lead worker in residential care or short breaks.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care.
• Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and manage day-to-day running of the service.
• Provide high-quality, child-centred care.
• Coach and mentor new starters.
• Ensure care plans, safeguarding and risk assessments are followed.
• Maintain records and service quality standards.
