Embrace Care in Chester is seeking a Support Worker – Specialist Adult Residential to help adults with complex needs feel safe, valued and empowered day-to-day.

The role involves supporting daily life, building relationships with residents and families, promoting community inclusion, and following person-centred care plans while maintaining safety and wellbeing on a dedicated supported living unit. A patient, respectful attitude and flexibility with shifts are essential.

• Experience supporting individuals living with autism, mental health needs, or behavioural challenges is essential.
• Comfortable with personal care tasks and working a rotational shift pattern including weekends and sleep-ins.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

• Supporting Daily Life: Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, personal care, and developing key independent living skills.
• Building Relationships: Getting to know our supported adults as individuals, understanding their passions, sensory preferences, and communication styles.
• Promoting Community Inclusion: Helping residents access local community activities, hobbies, outings, and leisure events.
• Maintaining Safety & Wellbeing: Following person-centred care plans and safeguarding guidelines to maintain a calm, structured home environment.

Support Worker – Specialist Adult Residential (CQC)

Location: Chester

Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour + paid sleep-ins

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Includes day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins)
