Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager - Programmes to lead the Supply Chain Programmes team across complex defence portfolios. You will shape strategy, drive improvements, and collaborate with business leaders, programmes, and suppliers to enable successful delivery and closeout.

You will build strategic supplier partnerships, deliver cost savings, and manage risks while guiding organisational development and capability improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supply chain management within a complex organisation.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior-level influence.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.
• Desirable: experience in defence, aerospace, engineering or regulated environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain Programmes team, driving capability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute supply chain management plans that support business winning activities and successful programme delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to remove obstacles, manage risk, and maximise value across programmes.
• Build and strengthen strategic supplier relationships, negotiating agreements that support long‑term business objectives.
• Deliver measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and KPI‑driven outcomes.
• Support organisational development, process improvement initiatives, and the delivery of the wider Supply Chain strategy.
