Job summary

MTrec Commercial is recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to support inbound deliveries from Egypt to the Hartlepool site. The role operates largely independently with coverage for holidays and absence, and offers hybrid working arrangements.

You will manage shipments, liaise with shipping providers, and ensure rates are agreed using FOB Incoterms. The position starts October/November and is full-time and permanent, with a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in international shipping / freight forwarding / import logistics is essential.
• Experience coordinating suppliers and shipments with overseas partners is required.
• Ability to work independently with proactive communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound supplier deliveries, mainly from Egypt, to Hartlepool site.
• Own planned shipments and provide weekly updates to Heads of Departments.
• Liaise with shipping and transport providers.
• Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB Incoterms.

Working Hours;

• Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30, and Friday, 08:00-15:30

MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our prestigious client on their search to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator on a full time and permanent basis.

The Role you will be doing;

• The person will largely operate independently, with support set out for holidays, absence and general cover.
• Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site.
• Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments.
• Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers.
• Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms.

About You;

• Previous experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics, supplier coordination is essential
• Egypt / Middle East trade would be welcomed, although this is not essential.
