Job summary

MTrec Commercial is representing our client in recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on managing inbound deliveries from Egypt to the Hartlepool site, coordinating shipments, and liaising with shipping providers to ensure FOB terms are applied.

The ideal candidate will have experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, and supplier coordination, and will be highly organized, proactive and a clear communicator.

Qualifications

• Experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics and supplier coordination.
• Egypt / Middle East trade experience welcomed but not essential.
• Highly organized and able to work at your own initiative.
• Proactive and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site.
• Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments.
• Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers.
• Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms.
