NEUTRA in Eynsham, Oxfordshire is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA) to own supplier quality across ~350 externally sourced components. You will audit suppliers, drive CI initiatives, and partner with internal Quality Engineers to resolve issues using structured problem-solving methods.

The role offers autonomy, visibility across the organisation, and a chance to shape the SQA framework to support growth in aerospace, motorsport, defence and advanced manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality in a regulated mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Minimum five years in aerospace, automotive, defence or similar.
• Two years in a supplier-facing quality role (SQA/SQE).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, PFMEAs and manufacturing process flows.
• Experience carrying out supplier audits and driving supplier improvement activities.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, Ishikawa or Six Sigma).

Responsabilités

• Conduct supplier audits for new suppliers, new product introductions and ongoing supplier approval.
• Assess manufacturing processes, quality systems and CI activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal Quality Engineers to resolve quality issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Drive supplier corrective actions through to completion.
• Develop and implement a supplier performance and rating system based on quality, delivery and continuous improvement.
