Greenjets Limited is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to be the key quality interface between the organisation and its supply chain. You will develop supplier quality strategies, establish robust quality frameworks and support ISO 9001 and AS9100 implementation.
You will travel within the UK and internationally to support supplier development and auditing activities; a minimum of 7 years in supplier quality roles and internal auditor certification are preferred as the company scales.

Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, you will become the key quality interface between the organisation and its supply chain. You will play a pivotal role in developing supplier quality strategies, establishing robust quality frameworks, and supporting the implementation of industry-standard quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Develop and implement supplier qualification, approval, monitoring, and development processes.
Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance evaluations.
Identify supplier risks and lead mitigation and continuous improvement activities.
Manage supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause investigations and effectiveness verification.
Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure drawings, specifications, critical characteristics, and quality requirements are clearly communicated to suppliers.
Support the development and maturity of the company's quality infrastructure as the business grows.
Identify gaps against ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements and implement appropriate controls and processes.
Create Component Quality Plans to support incoming inspection activities.
Define Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements and expectations.
Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and supplier-related quality investigations.
Act as the primary quality point of contact for key suppliers.
Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Conduct product, process, and system audits as required.
Travel within the UK and internationally to support supplier development and auditing activities.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, or a related quality role within a manufacturing environment.
ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Internal Auditor certification.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing supplier quality processes.
Strong understanding of supplier quality methodologies and quality management systems.
Experience operating independently and successfully establishing processes in environments with limited existing infrastructure.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
