Job summary

Tiro Contracts is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer for a luxury vehicle manufacturer, based in Crewe. This contract role focuses on ensuring supplied parts meet design specs, quality, and programme requirements from concept through production launch and series manufacture.

You will lead quality planning, support complex supplier issues, and drive improvements with external suppliers. Hybrid work with three days on-site in Crewe is available, with occasional European travel.

Qualifications

• APQP and PPAP experience in automotive/specialist manufacturing.
• Strong supplier management and supplier development experience.
• Proven problem-solving capability within manufacturing environments.
• Experience driving quality improvements with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Quality planning for priority 1 bought-in parts, aligning with design specs and 2DP completion.
• Technical support on complex supplier quality issues including KAF, Production and Field.
• Drive supplier quality improvements to meet Product Quality targets.
• Nominate suppliers achieving the group quality standards using accurate performance data.
