Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead FEED and Detailed Design for HV plant projects, interfacing with clients and delivering quality designs for transmission and distribution networks in the UK.

The role offers hybrid working, commitment to professional development, and opportunities to work on high-profile projects with National Grid and other clients. A strong focus on collaboration and results is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Primary Plant design.
• Preferably up to 400kV but not essential.
• Minimum 2.2 BEng in Electrical Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Leadership on FEED and Detail Design for National Grid, SSEN-Transmission or other Transmission & Distribution clients.
• Ensure QA and delivery of FEED, Detailed Design and bids.
• Coordinate with back-office engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Attend Design Review and Hazard Review meetings and site visits.
