Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking aSenior Engineer in New Technology & Product Development for Subsea Production Systems in the UK. You will lead design and development from customer requirements through qualification, collaborating with global teams to deliver competitive subsea solutions.

Candidates should have strong CAD/3D modeling skills, GD&T and experience with CREO and TeamCenter. Chartered engineer status is desirable and a proactive growth mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience in design engineering for subsea production systems.
• Strong CAD and 3D modeling experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop subsea XT technologies to meet customer needs and industry standards.
• Generate designs, drawings, BOMs, calculations and lead qualification activities.
• Manage plans, budgets, risks and stakeholder changes across global teams.
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews and mentor other engineers.
• Explore new opportunities and patents while conducting Freedom to Operate analyses.
