Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Planner to lead the schedule for a large subsea project. You will own the project timeline, ensure logic and accuracy, and support on-time and on-budget delivery.

Working with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams, you will provide visibility on 3–6 week look-ahead, risks and mitigations, and customer updates, while adhering to established processes and driving scheduling improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science.
• Experience planning in oil & gas/subsea or related large-scale manufacturing.
• Expert in Primavera P6 planning tool.
• Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus.
• Ability to connect schedule status to execution reality.
• Strong leadership and collaboration with planners and execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule management for the overall project, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other planners and with engineering, procurement and manufacturing.
• Support project management with 3–6 week look-ahead visibility, risks and mitigations, and opportunities.
• Provide relevant reports to project management for informed decisions.
• Interact with the customer to share schedule updates and challenges.
• Adhere to approved processes and drive new scheduling initiatives.
