Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Engineer for New Technology & Product Development in Subsea Production Systems. You will lead design and development from customer requirements through to qualification and delivery, collaborating across locations to ensure exceptional engineering solutions.

You will contribute to patents, perform FTO analysis, and guide a diverse team while applying DFMA and CAD across all stages of product life cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems with CAD models and GD&T understanding.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Chartered Engineer desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate several projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Subsea XT technologies to meet customer needs and industry standards.
• Generate designs, detailed drawings, stack-up drawings, BOMs and calculations; lead qualification and system integration testing.
• Ensure work is delivered on time and within budget; manage plan, risks, and resources.
• Lead global teams and apply DFMA principles across functions.
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews; mentor other engineers.
• Explore new opportunities, create patents, and perform Freedom to Operate analysis.
