Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Engineer in New Technology & Product Development for Subsea Production Systems. You will lead design efforts from concept through qualification, focusing on Subsea XT tech, with CAD output and rigorous testing.

Collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions that meet customer requirements, while advancing your Chartered Engineer goals and professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems with CAD output.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum engineering (Chartered engineer desirable).
• Deep understanding of GD&T and DFMA principles.
• Experience coordinating global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop Subsea XT technologies to meet customer needs and industry standards.
• Produce designs, 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs and qualification plans.
• Lead system integration testing and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers in a diverse team.
• Publish new patents and conduct Freedom-to-Operate analyses.
