Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to contribute to Tendering and Project Execution for Subsea Production Control Systems. Qualifications

• Hold a Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience with Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Demonstrate experience supporting subsea engineering projects through tendering, design, or project execution phases.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Comfort engaging directly with customers and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced project environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PCS engineering contribution for EPC tender opportunities.
• Develop tender documentation, including technical proposals, engineering write-ups, and risk registers.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Sales teams to develop competitive technical and commercial offerings.
• Support the design, integration, verification, testing, and delivery of subsea control system solutions.
• Manage requirements capture, analysis, allocation, and traceability across the project lifecycle.
• Define V&V requirements and support design verification evidence.
• Support System Integration, FAT, and customer acceptance activities.
• Contribute to engineering excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
