Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sub-Agent to join a major highways infrastructure scheme in Stirling, Scotland.

You will support the Agent and Project Manager, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating earthworks, drainage and road construction, monitoring progress, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sub-Agent, Site Agent or similar senior site management role in civil engineering/highways construction.
• Strong knowledge of highways infrastructure: earthworks, drainage, road construction, surfacing.
• Eligible for Civil Engineering/Construction Management qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Agent in planning, coordination and delivery of highways construction activities.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including earthworks, drainage, road construction, kerbing and surfacing.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, RAMS and project requirements.
• Monitor programme progress, resource allocation and productivity to meet milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, plant and materials.
• Maintain health, safety, environmental compliance and quality assurance.
• Liaise with client, local authorities, utility providers and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage site risks, technical issues and potential delays.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation.
• Support commercial management, cost control and change processes.
