Job summary

Mint Velvet in Braintree is seeking a Senior Style Advisor / Supervisor for 22 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday). You will support the Store Manager, drive excellent customer service, and uphold Mint Velvet's visual standards to create a sanctuary of style in-store.

You'll be a motivating role model with fashion passion, a love of service, and the ability to work well in a team, offering personal styling and developing your skills within a fast-growing business.

Qualifications

• You ideally have previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store.
• You should have a real love of fashion and be able to offer excellent customer service.
• You’ll need to be inspirational, helpful and able to live the Mint Velvet style.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in opening and closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for customers and team.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position to act on opportunities or concerns for the store.
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including Personal Styling offerings.
• Achieve outstanding visual delivery aligned with Mint Velvet visual guidelines; enhance customer journey in-store.
• Drive your own personal development and continually improve performance.
• Follow all policies and run a robust operation.

The Role

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
