Qualifications

• 3–8 years' PQE with a leading law firm or equivalent financial institution environment.
• Strong experience in structured finance, derivatives, or securitisation; exposure to SRT transactions.
• Knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and credit risk mitigation strategies.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate complex transaction documentation.
• Demonstrable analytical skills and sound commercial judgment.
• Capacity to manage multi-party negotiations and interact with major institutional clients.
• International mindset with cross-border transaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Advising on funded and unfunded synthetic securitisations and portfolio risk transfer structures.
• Structuring and executing balance sheet optimisation transactions, including capital relief trades.
• Negotiating complex documentation covering regulatory capital and credit-linked instruments.
• Collaborating with tax, regulatory, and structured finance teams for integrated advice.
• Advising on derivative overlays and hedging solutions in securitisation transactions.
