Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our UK Structural team within the Resilience Global Business Area. The role covers full design across water and energy sectors and involves leading small teams on challenging projects focused on sustainable design.

You will work with a range of disciplines, develop digital models, and contribute to bids while mentoring junior staff and advancing your technical and career development within Arcadis.

Qualifications

• Honours degree and Chartered/Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE.
• Experience with Eurocodes for concrete and steel design.
• Proficiency in ROBOT, TEDDS, MasterSeries or similar software.
• Experience with 3D design tools (REVIT, Navisworks).
• Design experience on civil structures, buildings and soil/structure interfaces.
• Experience leading small teams and coordinating with technicians.

Responsibilities

• Do and supervise project structural analysis, design and digital modelling.
• Do and supervise preparation of design models, calculations and reports.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for safe, sustainable, innovative work.
• Lead small structural teams and learn from peers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to influence project success.
• Deliver project work with Arcadis Global Design Centres.
• Contribute to bidding, budgeting, scheduling and risk assessment.
