Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in the UK to lead design and coordination of structures across diverse projects. You will manage technical and commercial aspects, mentor engineers, and interface with clients to ensure quality and safety.

This role sits within the Places Design Practice, with opportunities to deliver iconic, sustainable facilities. Ideal candidates will hold chartered status, be able to obtain SC clearance, and demonstrate breadth across materials, analysis

Qualifications

Professional qualification, preferably chartered with IStructE or ICE.
Existing SC clearance or eligible to obtain SC clearance.
Strong technical ability from diverse project experience.
Familiarity with common structural materials and site use.
Knowledge of structural analysis and design programs.
Commitment to health and safety and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and ability to prepare technical reports.
Attention to detail and ability to review others' work.
Interest in sustainable solutions and outcomes.
Ability to manage teams and resources on projects.
Willingness to mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and coordination of structures on a range of projects.
